Our ancient ancestors drew guidance from the wisdom of the plants, animals, stones, elements, skies, stars, and other beings in the seen and unseen web of creation because we are all connected. We are them and they are us. And they never stopped communicating with us. We only stopped listening. The Green Gold Ancestral Plant Spirit Oracle Deck is divided up into four parts of The Cosmic Wheel that syncretize the four parts of the Neo-Taino medicine wheel and the four parts of the Bakongo cosmogram. The categories are divided to represent a cycle of plant life: seed, root, leaf, and bloom. Just like our ancient depictions of the principal four directions, the cosmic wheel represents the path of the sun on earth, and hence the path of the human soul in constant evolution. Join us to receive an introduction to the Green Gold Oracle, and learn about the energetics of change that hold power over the universe and our lives. Star Feliz is an interdisciplinary artist and medicine person born and raised in Lenapehoking, aka New York City, with roots in Ayiti, aka Dominican Republic. Entangled across the mediums of sculptural installation, time-based media, and book forms, their work explores earth-based pathways for disarming apparatuses of violence and their cycles of trauma. After almost ten years of studying and practicing community-based herbalism, Star is currently sharing their medicine under the self-started project of Botánica Cimarrón. Their formulas are unique stories that weave together the past, present, and future of Caribbean folk healing to bring living systems back into alignment. Under the moniker of Priestusssy they create experimental devotional music.
