MOONS IN MIRRORS: Divination Strategies with Eliza Swann

During this two-part course, Eliza Swann will guide you through embodied divination practices and modes of perceiving that can help you clarify your intuitive voice and connect you to the poetry of the world. These practices are relational and do not require a symbol system like the Tarot. We will also cover strategies for discernment, ethics, and how to divine safely. While this class will be recorded if you can't make it live, it is strongly recommended that you attend live for maximum benefit. Everyone who signs up will be e-mailed a recording of the class within a week of the air date.

AS WITHOUT: Saturday January 21st: During this session we will learn some cosmological structures for viewing the world as a song or a poem that can be deciphered and sung along with. We will practice watching the world for a sign as well as water and flame gazing techniques. We will also discuss how to practice these techniques safely.

SO WITHIN: Saturday January 28th: During this session we will talk about the ethics of divination, how intuition and signs can be verified for truth within the body, and how to read the self and others as a poem or song that can be deciphered.

Eliza Swann is an interdisciplinary artist, intuitive, writer, and educator based in New York City. Eliza received a BA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, and an MFA from Central St. Martins in London. Eliza has contributed writing to BOMB, Arthur, Contemporary Art Review LA, and Perfect Wave Magazines. Their book The Anatomy of the Aura was released by St. Martin’s Press in April 2020. Eliza is the founder of The Golden Dome School, and currently teaches alchemy at Pratt Institute.
